Speakers will include representatives from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and Suicide Prevention New York (SPNY).
Speaker 1: Ms. Mary Jean Coleman will be speaking from a lived experience perspective, and will shed light on the devastation of suicide/heroin loss and the substantial role that survivors of suicide/heroin loss might play in future research efforts for mental health.
Speaker 2: Dr. Brett Harris, clinical assistant professor at the University of Albany School of Public Health will discuss other important aspects of mental health.
