UCLA: National Public Health Week Lectures and Activities

The UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health student group, Students of Color for Public Health, are hosting a full week of lectures and activities to celebrate National Public Health Week (NPHW), Monday, April 1- Saturday, April 6. NPHW recognizes the contributions of public health and allows for meaningful dialogue about issues and solutions that are important to address the root cause of health inequities.

This year’s NPHW theme is “Rooted,” which underscores community-led initiatives that empower communities of color to improve the overall health and well-being of their members.
