UIC Hosts “Brains, Biology and Violence”

The UIC School of Public Health’s antiviolence program, Cure Violence, will be hosting an event titled “Brains, Biology and Violence” on October 29 at the Fine Arts Building in Chicago.  Featured speakers include Jeremy G. Richman, founder of The Avielle Foundation whose daughter was killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT and Charles Ransford, director of science and policy for Cure Violence.  This event is free and open to the public.  Reserve your seat online or by contacting Cam Johnson at camj@uic.edu or 312-413-2476.
