The UIC School of Public Health will hold its 8th Annual Minority Health Conference on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. This is a student-led event designed to create conversation around three core aspects of social well-being: awareness, advocacy and activism. This year’s conference theme is “Systems of Power: Disrupting the Repetition of History” and the keynote speaker is Dr. Amara Enyia. The conference is free and open to the public. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served and continuing education credits will be available. Registration is required.
