For the first event in the new Dean’s Lecture Series, the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health will welcome Dr. Ben Meier, associate professor in the Department of Public Policy and the Department of Health Policy and Management.
Dr. Meier’s interdisciplinary research – at the intersection of global health, international law and public policy – examines rights-based approaches to health. He recently published a book titled, “Human Rights in Global Health: Rights-Based Governance for a Globalizing World.”
A reception will immediately follow the lecture.
