UNC: Hosting American Institute for Cancer Research 2019 Conference

The American Institute for Cancer Research annual Research Conference is a unique interdisciplinary forum that brings together researchers and clinicians for a program dedicated to increasing knowledge, stimulating research, and promoting prevention and treatment of cancer and cancer recurrence through nutrition, physical activity and weight management. Dr. Stephen Hursting, professor of nutrition at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health, is co-chair of the program committee behind this year’s event; several other researchers from the Gillings School will present their work.

The theme for the 2019 conference, being held at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC, is, “Beyond the Blueprint.”
