University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Public Health Continuing Education Live Webcast | Alzheimer’s Disease and the Importance of Accurate Death Reporting

University at Albany School of Public Health’s Center for Public Health Continuing Education will host a free, live webcast, Alzheimer’s Disease and the Importance of Accurate Death Reporting, Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 9 – 10 am ET.  The broadcast will feature Jessica Zwerling, MD, MS, director, Montefiore Hudson Valley Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease (CEAD), associate professor of Neurology and program director, United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) Geriatric Neurology Fellowship, director, Memory Disorders Center at Blondell, associate director, Center for the Aging Brain, and clinical director, Einstein Aging Study.  The webcast will provide an overview of the impact of Alzheimer’s Disease, including the disparities in diagnosis and treatment, the importance of early diagnosis, and the problem of underreporting of deaths related to Alzheimer’s Disease.
