The University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions was well-represented at the 2019 American Public Health Association’s Annual Meeting and Expo in Philadelphia. The university had 99 registered attendees, 49 abstracts, and two faculty members served as session moderators.
Beta Upsilon, the University of Florida chapter of Delta Omega, received an honorable mention for the Chapter of the Year Award at the Delta Omega Annual Meeting on Monday. Past-President Ms. Meghan Nodurft-Froman and Executive Secretary Dr. Cindy Prins presented chapter activities and accepted the award.
On Monday evening, UF hosted a social with College of Public Health and Health Professions Dean Michael G. Perri, faculty, staff, current students, alumni and guests at the Convention Center. One lucky attendee even won a signed UF basketball in the drawing!
