Florida Doctoral Student Receives 2016 Benton-Meier Award

Ms. Sarah Szymkowicz, a doctoral student in the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions’ department of clinical and health psychology, is one of two neuropsychology graduate students nationwide to receive the 2016 Benton-Meier Award from the American Psychological Foundation. The award will support Ms. Szymkowicz’s dissertation project, “Age-Related Mechanisms of Emotion Anticipation and Perception.” She is mentored by Dr. Vonetta Dotson and Dr. Dawn Bowers.
