Florida Faculty Co-Authored Article Selected for 2014 Diane Willis Award

An article co-authored by Dr. David Janicke, an associate professor and interim chair of the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions’ department of clinical and health psychology, has been selected for the 2014 Diane Willis Award for Outstanding Article in the Journal of Pediatric Psychology.

The article titled “Recommendations for training in pediatric psychology: Defining core competencies across training levels” appeared in the October 2014 issue of the journal.

Named for Dr. Diane Willis, who served as founding editor of the journal and president of the Society of Pediatric Psychology, the award recognizes articles that have the potential to significantly contribute to scholarship in the science and practice of pediatric psychology, demonstrate innovation and excellence, and provide an exemplar for others to model.
