Florida Student Co-authors Paper Published in Harvard Business Review

Ms. Meredith Brady, a master’s in health administration student in the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions’ department of health services research, management and policy, is a co-author of a paper on practice changes at Mayo Clinic that appeared in the Harvard Business Review.

Ms. Brady’s participation in the paper came out of her summer internship with Mayo Clinc’s Kern Center for the Science of Health Care in Jacksonville, FL.  Under the direction of Dr. Ryan Uitti, the center’s deputy medical director, Ms. Brady collaborated on the article on Mayo Clinic’s Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing approach to total knee and hip replacement procedures.

Following graduation next year, Ms. Brady will begin an administrative fellowship with The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
