Mr. Rogelio Coronado, a doctoral student in rehabilitation science at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions, is co-author of a paper on spinal joint mobilization techniques that won the Journal of Manual & Manipulative Therapy’s John Medeiros Distinguished Author Award for 2013. The award is named after the founder of the journal, who was editor-in-chief for 16 years. It recognizes the paper with the most impact, that will most influence clinical practice, and that has the greatest opportunity for citations. The winner is chosen by the editorial team from all eligible papers published in the year. Mr. Coronado and colleagues accepted the award at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in February.
