Rutgers School of Public Health Professor, Dr. Jason Roy, has been named a Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA). This is considered one of the highest honors among statisticians with members serving in industry, government, and academia around the world. Members work to advance research, promote sound statistical practice, inform public policy, and improve human welfare.
The designation of ASA Fellow has been a significant honor for nearly 100 years. Fellows are awarded based on their contributions to the advancement of statistical science. The award recognizes statisticians who have made outstanding contributions through research, teaching, consulting, and service to the association and statistical profession.
