Learn more about the session.

The session, geared to global health faculty in all academic settings, aims to demonstrate the new Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) global health competencies and the related toolkit as a springboard to applying the competencies to three sample curricular models. Participants will enjoy problem-solving and networking in facilitated table discussions around challenges and solutions to competency-based teaching in their own academic and practice contexts. Faculty will depart the workshop with more confidence and increased abilities to translate competencies into successful curricular and co-curricular activities for global health.

Presenters include Dr. Laura Magaña (ASPPH), Dean Chang-Chuan Chan (Taiwan), Dr.  Peggy Bentley (UNC), Dr. Núria Casamitjana (ASPHER), and Dr. Elizabeth Ablah (Kansas).
