Georgia Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America Re-launches Statewide 1-800-Children Helpline

Prevent Child Abuse Georgia (PCA Georgia), Georgia’s chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America – which is housed in the Center for Healthy Development at the Georgia State University School of Public Health – is re-launching the 1-800-Children Helpline on February 26. After shutting down in 2011, the Helpline will once again be operational due to the generous support of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation. This free resource and referral line is a source of information for parents, grandparents, youth, family members, foster parents, faith communities, professionals, and others across Georgia who are concerned about child abuse and neglect.
