The Georgia Southern University Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health (JPHCOPH) will offer a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) with a major in Health Education and Promotion starting this fall. The BSPH prepares students to conduct programs with all populations in a variety of practice settings, on a spectrum of health related topics. With a major in health education and promotion, BSPH graduates will possess professional expertise in the areas of program planning, implementation and evaluation of disease prevention, and health promotion activities. This major also provides the foundation to advance in graduate degree programs such as the Master of Public Health (MPH, the Master in Health Services Administration (MHA), Physician’s Assistant (PA) Programs, and other Allied Health areas.
