Dr. John Steward, faculty in the Georgia State University School of Public Health, has been elected to the Georgia Environmental Health Association’s (GEHA) Board of Directors.
Dr. Steward will serve on the GEHA Board for a two-year term as the Education member. He has represented the academic perspective of environmental health in Georgia for the past 15 years as a GEHA member.
As a a registered environmental health specialist (R.E.H.S.) for more than 30 years, Dr. Steward holds several roles, including a member of the International Society for Urban Health, American Public Health Association, the National Environmental Health Association, and the Uniformed Services Environmental Health Association. He also serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Trails Alliance.
