GW Professor Elected to Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters

Dr. Lone Simonsen, research professor at Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University (Milken Institute SPH), was recently elected as a foreign member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, a prestigious science academy in Denmark. The Royal Academy was established in 1742 under King Christian VI and since then has elected a highly selective set of national and foreign members. The Royal Academy was established to foster a better understanding of science and today serves as a meeting place for prominent researchers from all over the world.
