Impact of Calorie Count Requirements on Food Industry

Several states and municipalities have recently introduced regulations that require chain restaurants to post nutrition information and calorie counts on their menus. While a number of recent studies examined whether knowing calorie counts impacts consumers’ ordering decisions, a Drexel University School of Public Health study, discussed recently in an article on TIME.com, looked at the food industry’s response to menu labeling.
