The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) kicked off its inaugural webinar series event on March 9 to an engaged audience. Entitled IPEC Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice: The Journey from 2011-2016, the new webinar series, hosted by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), aims to highlight trends and activities in interprofessional education for collaborative practice. Dr. Madeline H. Schmitt (University of Rochester) and Ms. Ruth Gaare Bernheim (UVA) both presented to the 338 participants, hailing from across the US and overseas, including faculty members, students, and practitioners.
