Johns Hopkins: Alumna Featured in Q&A on Startup/Founder Experience as Co-Founder and CEO of Whole Biome

Dr. Colleen Cutcliffe, an alumna of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, is featured in a Q&A in the weekly newsletter of venture capital firm  Sequoia Capital. Dr. Cutliffe is co-founder and CEO of Whole Biome, a San Francisco-based company that develops microbiome interventions for the management of metabolic syndrome and other diseases, using its proprietary discovery platform.

The human microbiome is an ecosystem made up of billions of bacterial organisms that function with our bodies and impact our overall health.

Dr. Cutliffe received her PhD from the School’s department of biochemistry and molecular biology in 2004.
