Dr. Martin Lindquist, a professor in the department of biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, received this year’s Organization for Human Brain Mapping’s (OHBM’s) Education in Neuroimaging Award. The award is given to an OHBM member who has made significant contributions to education and training in the field of neuroimaging.
Dr. Lindquist’s research focuses on mathematical and statistical problems relating to the analysis of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) data. He was awarded the prize for contributions in teaching statistical issues to the neuroimaging community and the development of a series of online classes that have taught fMRI methods to more than 80,000 students from over 180 countries.
The award was presented at the opening ceremonies of the 24th Annual Meeting of OHBM held June 17-21 in the Suntec City Centre in Singapore.
