Dr. Shani Bardach of the University of Kentucky College of Public Health has been accepted to the highly-competitive National Institute on Aging Butler-Williams Scholars Program.
The prestigious Butler-Williams Scholars Program provides opportunities for junior faculty and researchers new to the field of aging to gain insight about aging research. The five-day program, held in Bethesda, Maryland, offers diverse perspectives and includes lectures, seminars, and small group discussions.
Dr. Bardach is research assistant professor of gerontology at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health and director of Clinical Trials Outreach and Recruitment for the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. She has recently been the chair of the Emerging Scholar and Professional Organization of the Gerontological Society of America and is an editorial board member of the The Gerontologist, The Journal of Aging and Social Policy, and The Journal of Applied Gerontology.Tags: Friday Letter Submission, Publish on June 14
