The University of Kentucky College of Public Health has launched a new online Master of Public Health program with a concentration in Health Systems & Policy Analytics. The world-ready degree will prepare graduates to shape the future of population health through data-driven decision-making.
“The MPH with a Health Systems & Policy Analytics concentration is useful because health systems and health policy shape population health. Earning an MPH from the University of Kentucky has given me the ability to assess, design, and implement effective programs and policies at all levels. I’m now ready to tackle public health problems,” says current on-campus MPH student Mr. Dakota Halbert.
The new program will offer online students access to the same high-quality instruction, career preparation, and alumni networks available to on-campus students. With the flexibility of online instruction, the 42 credit hour program is designed to meet workforce needs by catering to populations including mid-career professionals, rural residents, and others who want to take advantage of the opportunity to receive a world-class degree from a flagship public research university on their own schedule and at an affordable tuition rate.
The online MPH tuition of $700 per credit hour is the same for in-state and out-of-state students, and lower than the current per-hour rate for on-campus professional master’s programs. The application period for classes beginning Fall 2020 is open now through April 1, 2020.Friday Letter Submission, Publish on August 30
