Three members of the University of Kentucky College of Public Health faculty have achieved promotion — two to full professor and one to associate professor with tenure. All appointments are effective as of July 1.

Dr. Bunn, professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health joined the College of Public Health faculty in 2006 as an assistant professor, and was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 2011. She also serves as director of the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center. She was named a University Research Professor in 2016.
Dr. Ingram an associate professor, with tenure in the Department of Health Management and Policy, joined the College of Public Health faculty in 2011 as an assistant professor in the research title series, and was named a regular title series assistant professor in 2013.

Dr. Vanderpool a professor in the Department of Health, Behavior & Society joined the College of Public Health faculty in 2006 as an assistant professor in the research title series, and was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 2015. She also serves as director of Community Outreach and Engagement and co-director of the Behavioral & Community-Based Research Shared Resource Facility for the UK HealthCare Markey Cancer Center. Dr. Vanderpool was the recipient of the Dean’s Outstanding Teaching Performance Award in 2014, and a nominee for the Provost’s Teaching Award in 2016.Friday Letter Submission, Publish on July 12
