Michigan: 400 Years of Inequity and Its Impact on Today’s Public Health

On Friday, October 18, the University of Michigan School of Public Health will offer individual research presentations and a panel discussion as a way to reflect on the ways in which slavery has created structural societal inequalities for African Americans. Topics include: the history of race and US medical experimentation, African American women maternal health and African American men oncology treatment.
