Michigan Professor Wins National Kidney Foundation’s Award

University of Michigan Emeritus Professor of Epidemiology, Dr. Friedrich K. Port, is the 2014 recipient of the National Kidney Foundation's David Hume Award. The Hume Award is the highest honor given to a distinguished scientist-clinician in the field of kidney and urologic diseases. The National Kidney Foundation is the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease for hundreds of thousands of health care professionals, millions of patients, and tens of millions of Americans at risk.
