Michigan Professors Offer their Expertise on Public Health, Preparedness, and Economics in Light of Hurricane Matthew

University of Michigan has created a webpage consolidating the contact information of professors from SPH and other schools around campus who are available to discuss and weigh in on the repercussions of Hurricane Matthew from public health, to preparedness, to economic topics. The site provides the name, contact number, and email of the professors as well as a short description of their research interests and experience which pertain to issues that have/may arise as a result of the damage and displacement of individuals as a result of the storm.

For example, SPH professor Dr. Marisa Eisenberg, of the epidemiology department, offers her knowledge of infectious diseases, especially waterborne diseases that may pose a danger in a post-hurricane environment.
