Ms. Sarah Rosenblum, a master’s student studying health management and policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, has received a 2019 David A. Winston Health Policy Scholarship, which recognizes excellence, achievement and commitment to a career in health policy.
Winston scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship and are invited to a two-day Winston Scholars Symposium in Washington, DC.
After graduate school, Ms. Rosenblum hopes to continue her career in health policy, ideally through a position within the federal government or with a payer organization in the private sector, translating policy into actionable implications or developing innovative programs to deliver higher quality care at a lower cost.
