Minnesota: Gaugler Explains Alzheimer’s in Q&A Distributed Across Minnesota

November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and 5.8 million people are living with the disease across the United States. Dementia expert and University of Minnesota School of Public Health professor, Dr. Joseph Gaugler recently answered questions about what Alzheimer’s is, its symptoms, and risk factors in an article that was distributed by the university to media outlets across Minnesota. The article is part of a year-long, 87-county traveling information campaign Dr. Gaugler launched earlier this year to offer educational outreach on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other long-term care issues important to Minnesotans.
