Join the University of Minnesota School of Public Health community to celebrate National Public Health Week with these free and open-to-the-public events.

Public Health Film Series: “On Beauty”

On Beauty,” a Public Health Film Series documentary addresses the need to change the way we experience and see beauty. Following the documentary, a panel of local experts will discuss the film’s reach and take audience comments and questions.
Research Day Open House

The Research Day Open House is an opportunity for School of Public Health students to showcase their research to faculty, staff, alumni, and the general public. An awards ceremony honoring the best research and presentations begins at 5:45 p.m.

The Health Disparities Roundtable features panelists Drs. Gilbert C. Gee, Mónica Hurtado, and Michelle van Ryn in a discussion on discrimination in healthcare. This annual lecture and forum examines issues in culturally responsive public health practice.
