Nevada, Reno: Member Earns first place in Hawaii-Pacific Evaluation Association Workshops and Conference poster competition.

University of Nevada, Reno School of Community Health Sciences’ Dr. Elizabeth Christiansen, director of the Center for Program Evaluation and Ms. Kelly Morning, evaluation and research coordinator, presented at the Hawaii-Pacific Evaluation Association Workshops and Conference. Dr. Christiansen and Ms. Morning presented on the Appreciative Inquiry Approach and led participants through demonstrations and several activities for application of this approach.

At the conference,  Dr. Christiansen won first place the poster competition with her poster entitled “Evaluation of the ‘Pick a Better Snack’ Nutrition Education Program in Schools: Use of a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Multilevel Model Analysis”.
