Dr. Leah Neubauer, assistant professor in preventive medicine at Northwestern University, authored a paper that was selected for the Presidential Strand for the Annual Meeting of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) in October. The Presidential Strand sessions are selected for their high quality representing the field of evaluation. Dr. Neubauer’s session is among 20 selected for free, live stream. Dr. Neubauer will present findings on a conceptual model of critical self-reflection for educators and evaluators with collaborators, Dr. Richard Kiely (Cornell) and Thomas G. Archibald (Virginia Tech). The session entitled “Speaking truth to power: Conceptualizing evaluators as critically reflective power brokers” will be held on Friday, November 2 at 3:30-4:15 p.m. ET.
