This award recognizes an HFMA member for outstanding contributions to the Healthcare Financial Management Association as a result of substantial activity over the course of a career.
“This award provided me with the personal satisfaction and joy of being appreciated and recognized for my efforts and commitment to the changing and challenging profession of healthcare finance. Wow, it has been a great feeling,” said Dr. Schrock.
Individuals are nominated by their peers and selected based on the significance of the accomplishments and contributions to the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the level of service they have provided HFMA at the chapter, regional, and national levels.
“Dick Schrock has for many years been a highly valued member of our adjunct faculty,” said Dr. Tom Wickizer, chair of the Division of Health Services Management & Policy at The Ohio State College of Public Health. He has taught applied health care finance to scores of MHA students over the years. The Program and the field of practice have benefited greatly from Dick’s teaching.”
