Ohio State Undergraduate Public Health

Ohio State Celebrates First Undergraduates:

The Ohio State University College of Public Health celebrated graduation of first public health majors this year. Twenty-two of Ohio State’s first ever Bachelor of Science in Public Health students graduated this spring. Of those receiving a BSPH degree, 18 focused on sociology while the other four specialized in environmental public health.

Some will return to our college for advanced degrees, others will take their skills and use them at other graduate programs throughout the country while others will begin their work immediately, doing the work of public health across the globe.

The undergraduate majors started their journey with the launch of the program in fall 2012, and a handful of students completed their degrees at the end of fall and winter semester. All were recognized during spring celebrations.
