The Spring 2020 IPEC Faculty Development Institute in Washington, D.C. and 2020 IPEC Interprofessional Leadership Development Program (ILDP) in Atlanta, GA have been postponed due to spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
“As we monitor the unfolding outbreak, our thoughts are with those impacted globally and nationwide, as well as in our local communities,” expressed Deborah E. Trautman, PhD, RN, FAAN, Chair, IPEC Board of Directors in a statement to its members. “While this decision has been extremely difficult to make, the safety of our members, guests and staff, as well as their families, students and patients, is always our top priority. We have therefore decided to postpone IPEC’s upcoming meetings.”
IPEC is developing plans to reschedule and host both meetings in Fall 2020. Additional information will be announced as it becomes available. We appreciate your kind patience and understanding as we are considering the rapidly changing circumstances.
For those registered for the Spring 2020 IPEC Institute or 2020 IPEC ILDP, please note that IPEC will contact each participant over the next few days. Please watch for further communications from firstname.lastname@example.org.
“On behalf of IPEC, thank you for your continued partnership and support,” said Dr. Trautman. “We look forward to continuing to work with driven and collaborative health professions educators and partners across the country.”
