My experience as a graduate research assistant has been the most beneficial part of my experience here at SLU. It is helping me to apply what I’m learning in the classroom immediately and directly to real life experiences. I’ve learned a lot of about the methodology of research as well as how to use academic research in collaborations with community organizations.
I would love to see public health become a larger part of the fight for environmental justice, especially against climate change.
