In one sentence, what is public health to you?

Public health protects and promotes population health.

What inspired you to study public health?

I entered college as a pre-med student so when I started acquiring experience in hospital settings, I realized I could make a difference in patient lives on the administrative side of healthcare.

What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?

Helping individuals and families obtain access to health insurance as a former Medicaid caseworker.

Health equity
