  1. What has been the single most rewarding experience of your career/studies so far?

As a student ambassador during my undergrad studies, I was able to reach the United Nations General Assembly Hall. There, I was able to interact with students from all over the world and understood that other countries and other global communities see health differently and with their own point of view. I knew then that my knowledge and my passion for health needed to reach the global scale. Ever since, I am passionate for Global Health and my love for this area of study has taken me to organizations such as The United Nations and the World Bank.

  1. What do you think is the biggest challenge that the public health field should be focusing on?

The biggest challenge in my opinion is to educate communities for them to understand what health really means and how important it is for all aspects of development in a human. Educating, advocating, but most importantly bringing this health education to the poorest communities can have such a positive impact in the world. positive benefits such as; decrease in mortality rate, improve overall individual and community health, as well as the improvement on human capital which leads to growth and development of a nation.
