Public Health Reports: Anticipating Industry Arguments: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Authority to Reduce Nicotine Levels in Cigarettes

In a recent article in Public Health Reports, Mr. Micha L. Berman of The Ohio State University, and Ms. Patrician J. Zettler and Dr. David L. Ashley of Georgia State University provided a public health law commentary which considered legal arguments the tobacco industry may raise against the FDA’s proposed move to lower nicotine levels in cigarettes as well as possible responses.
