Puerto Rico Faculty Awarded Researcher of the Year by the Behavioral Sciences Journal

The Journal “Ciencias de la Conducta” (Behavioral Sciences Journal) recently recognized Dr. Sheilla L. Rodriguez-Madera, associate professor in the doctoral program in public health with a specialty in social determinants of health at the social sciences department of the School of Public Health, University of Puerto Rico – Medical Sciences Campus, as Researcher of the Year for her contributions to the advance of research in the behavioral sciences in Puerto Rico. The award was presented by Dr. Alfonso Martínez-Taboas, editor of the Behavioral Sciences Journal, and Dr. Jose Cabiya, president of the Carlos Albizu University, during the Annual Meeting of the Psychological Association of Puerto Rico.
