Emory Receives $10 Million Endowment in Honor of Dean’s Anniversary

The O. Wayne Rollins Foundation pledged $10 million to Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and the newly established James W. Curran Scholarship Fund at the school’s recent anniversary celebration.

The James W. Curran Scholarship Fund was established in honor of the 20th anniversary of Emory’s dean Dr.  James W. Curran – the nation’s longest serving, current school of public health dean.

In addition to Dr. Curran’s anniversary, the school also celebrated its 40/25 Anniversary – 40 years as a public health program and 25 years as a school of public health– in a month-long Celebrate Rollins commemoration.  The endowment was announced at the culminating ️gala dinner, by Emory University President James W. Wagner.
