Rutgers School of Public Health professor and chair of the department of urban-global public health, Dr. Leslie Kantor, has authored an op-ed examining the potential reversal of the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, which could make access to family planning, cancer screenings, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, and abortion more difficult to obtain. The op-ed ran in print and online last Sunday, ahead of next week’s nomination hearings of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court.
