Dr. Laura E. Liang has been appointed associate dean for administration for the Rutgers School of Public Health, effective September 1. As associate dean for administration, Dr. Liang will oversee the School’s strategic goals and objectives; policy development; institutional assessment, accreditation, and evaluation; human resources; long-range space planning and facilities management; and marketing, communications, and public relations.
“I am honored by this appointment and welcome the opportunity to step into a leadership role at the Rutgers School of Public Health,” Dr. Liang said. “For more than two decades, I have enjoyed a wonderful association with the School and have benefited enormously from interacting with the School’s high quality faculty, staff, and students. I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance the teaching, research, and service missions of the School.”
“Dr. Liang’s administrative background here gives her the needed qualifications for working with our faculty and students, and managing and enhancing the School’s administrative programs and processes,” said Dean Jasjit S. Ahluwalia of the Rutgers School of Public Health. “I am looking forward to working with Laura in this capacity to support our faculty, staff, and students and to grow our education, research, and service programs.”
