Dr. Keith T. Elder, associate professor and chair of the Department of Health Management and Policy at Saint Louis University College for Public Health and Social Justice, will provide governance and guidance alongside members from the business community, faith-based organizations and nonprofits during the three year term.

The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio is a community of women religious of different ages with diverse gifts and talents, from many countries and cultures.
The sisters live out their mission through a number of ministries in the areas of health, the elderly, education, pastoral care, and spirituality. The congregation is international and sisters serve in Mexico, Peru, Ireland, Zambia, and the United States. In the St. Louis area, the Sisters work a number of ministries including parish ministry, social justice, and teaching.
The organization has a well-established history of collaboration with Saint Louis University, including its recent support of Metro Market, an innovative effort to bring fresh and local fruits and vegetables to communities impacted by food deserts.
