The Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health Caucus, sponsored by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) in partnership with the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), is currently seeking public health practitioners and academics to serve as abstract reviewers for oral and poster presentations for the 2019 APHA Meeting to take place November 2 – 6 in Philadelphia, PA with the theme: Creating the Healthiest Nation: For science. For action. For health.
Reviewers will conduct the online abstract review March 4 – 29. The number of abstracts assigned per reviewer will depend on both the number of abstracts received and the total number of reviewers. Each abstract review takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes. Instructions to conduct the reviews will be provided by APHA.

The Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health Caucus provides a forum for American Public Health Association (APHA) members to explore and discuss innovative approaches and effective interventions that support practice, education, and applied research by building bridges between academia and practice. Public health academicians and practitioners within public health institutions (e.g., federal, state, regional, local, private sector or non-profit organizations) that administer or participate in academic and practice partnerships are encouraged to submit abstracts to showcase their work at the APHA Annual Meetings.
