Representatives of ASPPH member schools and programs of public health participating in SOPHAS elected two new members to the SOPHAS Advisory Council (SAC), which is the primary governing body for SOPHAS is comprised of elected representatives of ASPPH members. The new members are:
- Ms. Rachel Foltz, coordinator of graduate recruitment and admissions at The Ohio State University College of Public Health
- Ms. Emily Keily, director of admissions, Tufts University School of Medicine, Public Health Program

They join six other members of the SOPHAS Advisory Council:
- Dr. Kara Robinson, associate dean for admissions and student affairs at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and chair of the SAC
- Dr. Mary Ann Smith, assistant dean for students at the University of Texas School of Public Health and chair-elect of the SAC
- Mr. Vincent James, director of admissions at the Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health and immediate past-chair of the SAC
- Ms. Caitlin Reid, assistant dean for admissions and student affairs at the University at Albany SUNY School of Public Health
- Ms. Amy Glicken, recruitment and admissions coordinator at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health
- Dr. Joe Korevec, director of admissions and financial aid at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health
