Mr. Mark Stout, an alumnus of the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health, has been selected as a fellow of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The Association recognizes excellence, professional achievement and outstanding service in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
“I am honored to be recognized by AACVPR as a fellow,” Mr. Stout said to MidlandsBiz in an interview. “It has been rewarding to be able to impact the lives of those with heart disease and their families, and encourage them to make meaningful lifestyle changes that ultimately lead to a better quality of life.”
Mr. Stout earned a Master of Science in Exercise Science from the Arnold School and currently works as the program supervisor for Cardiac Rehabilitation at Lexington Medical Center Irmo in South Carolina.
