The 52nd annual conference for men and women of the U.S. Public Health Service will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center on June 6-9, 2017. ASPPH members are invited to become sponsors and/or exhibitors of the USPHS Scientific and Training Symposium. Many officers of the U.S. Public Health Service are looking for continuing education and advanced degrees to prepare for promotions and greater responsibilities.
Plenary speakers will include Jim Marks, EVP of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, VADM Vivek Murphy, U.S. Surgeon General, and RADM Boris Lushniak (ret), Dean of the University of Maryland School of Public Health. Other speakers will include a panel discussion featuring RADM Ali Khan (ret), Dean of the University of Nebraska College of Public Health and CAPT Lynn Slepski, Senior Public Health Advisor for the Department of Transportation. Dr. Erika Lee, Professor of History at the University of Minnesota, will discuss her book titled, “Angel Island: Immigrant Gateway to America.”
