The PHS Commissioned Officers Foundation invites you to submit an abstract for an oral presentation at the 2016 USPHS Scientific & Training Symposium, which will be held May 17-19, 2016 at the Renaissance Conference Center in Oklahoma City. The University of Oklahoma College of Public Health is an academic partner for the event. The theme for this year’s conference is “Gimme Five: Building a Better Tomorrow Through Prevention Today.”
The deadline for submissions is December 2.
Accepted abstracts will be selected for a 30-minute oral presentation as part of a themed track session presented on either Tuesday, May 17 or Thursday, May 19. The committee seeks abstracts that provide an opportunity to share innovative and effective best practices and research. Abstracts should identify how the presentation will improve the competence or performance of the attendees or improve public health or clinical outcomes. Any topics falling within the scope of the overall theme or sub-themes will be considered. The topics listed under each track are intended to stimulate your thinking, not limit it!
